HAMERSVILLE — Andy Steed of Clinton-Massie fired a 3-under par 33 on the back nine here Thursday and earned medalist honors at the SBAAC American Division nine-hole boys golf match at Friendly Meadows Golf Course.
“It was great to see Andy finally relax and have fun,” CM coach Phil Larrick said.
With the 33, Steed takes over individual honors in the league by one stroke over teammate Owen Goodwin who had a 37 on Thursday.
Gunnar Martin of WIlmington had a 36 and is seven shots back of Steed among individuals.
In the team standings, the Falcons lead in a runaway by 34 strokes after just two events.
