The Port William community has recently lost one of our community leaders. My friend, Mike Mason, was a volunteer fireman and fire chief for decades. He not only gave endless hours, but his treasurer as well.

He was instrumental in giving our community a wonderful gift, our fire department. He loved and served our community unselfishly for many years.

He will be missed, but not forgotten.
