LEES CREEK —Led by Taylor Barton, East Clinton remained unbeaten in SBAAC National Division play Monday with a 3-1 win over Bethel-Tate.
The Astros are 9-0 in league play and 14-4 overall. The Tigers are 3-13 in all matches, 2-7 in the National Division.
Barton had 21 digs and 28 perfect passes in the win.
“Taylor has been doing an amazing job in the back row,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said. “We’ve really been counting on her for her serve receive and defense.”
The Astros served well, Sodini said, with Emily Arnold serving 11 aces. She also had 27 assists. Karsyn Jamison led EC with 14 kills.
“I continue to be very excited about our teamwork and effort,” Sodini concluded.
