Cy and Joan Stephens of Wilmington will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Friday, Aug. 12.
Mr. Stephens and the former Joan DeVoe were married on Aug. 12, 1951 in the Port William Methodist Church.
The couple has two children, Lisa (Frank Guy) Stephens of Blanchester and Terry (Pam) Stephens of Port William; and three grandchildren, Katy Stephens, Lauren Stephens and Clayton Guy.
A family celebration will be held later this month.
Cy Stephens is retired from Stephens Hardware and Plumbing of Port William. Joan Stephens also retired from Stephens Hardware and from Bob & Carl’s Grocery.
Both enjoy traveling, their Florida home in Riverest, gardening and their families.
The former Joan DeVoe married Cy Stephens on Aug. 12, 1951.
