Stella Boring will celebrate her 100th birthday on Halloween — Oct 31.

“Pretty cool to be coming up on 100 years,” she says.

Stella is active in her church and enjoys gardening, raising her cat and getting together with her friends and family. She even plays chair volleyball at the Wilmington Senior Center

Stella was a nurse at Clinton Memorial Hospital for over 30 years, and she and her husband Bill were married for 52 years. Both have been active in the community over the last several decades. Bill was Post Commander for the American Legion and active in the Masons, Elks, Eagles, and was an avid bowler.
