A girl, Ada Jane Rogers, was born to Dessie (Buchanan) Rogers and Nicholas Rogers at 5:10 p.m. on Sept. 5, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Stephen and Sally Buchanan of Wilmington. Maternal great-grandparents are Hiram and Dessie Bledsoe (deceased) and Drs. Richard and Emily Buchanan (deceased) of Wilmington and Mary Bledsoe of Cincinnati.

Paternal grandparents are Randy and Anita Rogers of Wilmington. Paternal great-grandparents are Hugh McElroy of Waynesville, Juanita McElroy of Wilmington (deceased), and Bill and (Ada) Louise Rogers of Sabina (deceased).
