Nellie Ashmore of Wilmington, daughter of Guy and Sandy Ashmore of Clarksville, and Joel Hogle of Wilmington, son of Gary Hogle and Barb Lahman of North Manchester, Indiana, have announced their engagement. They will be married Oct. 8, 2016 at Pattison Lodge in Batavia.

The bride-elect graduated from Clinton-Massie High School and from Earlham College. She is a flower farmer and owner of That Girl’s Flowers in Clarksvillle.

The groom-elect graduated from Wawasee High School and from Earlham College. He works for Davey Resource Group, surveying for the Asian Longhorn Beetle
