Kate Mackenzie Wallace of Midland, daughter of Marc and Cyndi Wallace of Sabina, and Joshua Martin Parker of Midland, son of Jeff and Susan Parker of Martinsville, have announced their engagement.

They will be married at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 26, 2017 at Martinsville Church of Christ, followed by a reception at the Clinton County Fairgrounds in Wilmington.

The bride-elect graduated from East Clinton High School and Laurel Oaks Vocational School Equine Science and Management program, and attended Wilmington College for Pre-Vet Animal Science. She is currently working full-time at Orchard Veterinary Care.

The groom-elect graduated from Wilmington High School and Laurel Oaks Vocational School Pre-Engineering program. He works on the family farm in Martinsville and is a self-employed truck driver hauling swine across Ohio.
