Thornberry-Prusson wedding

Dr. Tomilyn Thornberry, formerly of Wilmington and currently of Livermore, California, married Dr. Kyle Lynn Prusso of Livermore on Saturday, April 8 in Savannah, Georgia at St. Frances Cabrini Church. The wedding was officiated by Fr. Gabe Cummings.

The bride is the daughter of Robert Lynn and Tamie Newman Thornberry of Wilmington and the groom is the son of Laurie and Mark Hatch and Scott and Katrina Prusso.

Maid of honor was Lauren Staley, with bridesmaids Katrina Peck, Joanna Milroy, Megan O’Hara, and Vicki Garfola.

Best man was Jack and Dylan Prusso, sons of the groom, with groomsmen Dan Licon, Stefan Thornberry, and Britton Thornberry.

The bride and groom chose the bride’s grandmother, Arlene Newman, for their flower girl.

The bride and groom and wedding party were taken to the reception in downtown Savannah by a special southern “wedding trolley.” The evening ended with a sparkler farewell, as the bride and groom, friends and family boarded a private trolley for a Savannah ghost tour.

The following day was a gathering at Forsythe Park for a day of food and games for family and friends.

The bride is the Owner/Chiropractor of Thornberry Running & Sports Therapy and assistant cross country/track coach at San Ramon Valley High School. She is a graduate of Wilmington High School with a BS from Xavier University, Master’s from Notre Dame, and a Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic West.

The groom is the Team Chiropractor for the Oakland Raiders, and Director of Clinics at Palmer College of Chiropractic West. He is a graduate of Livermore High School with a Doctorate from Life West Chiropractic College.

The newlyweds took an all inclusive honeymoon to Panama where they explored many of the sights and activities in and around Panama.

The couple is currently residing in Livermore, California.
