WILMINGTON — After a two-plus year hiatus due to COVID, the 3M men’s club will resume when it meets Monday, June 6 at 9 a.m. in the Campus Center on the Ohio Living Cape May campus. All senior men in the Wilmington area are invited. A free continental breakfast is served.

Future meetings will be held twice a month on the first and third Mondays of each month. Each meeting features a speaker on a subject of interest to all.

Before the 3M club had to stop meeting due to the pandemic, they heard from speakers including representatives of various government and social groups including county judges, veterans groups, planning commissions, and even representatives of women’s groups.

“We encourage all participants to recommend speakers who would help us to understand what and how things happen in our area, or issues which are significant such as some of the social programs like Hope House, the Clinton County Homeless Shelter, and Habitat for Humanity,” a media release stated.

The first speaker will be Adam Walters speaking on Home Health & Hospice. For future meetings, several persons have made suggestions for interesting speakers.

For this first time, organizers are asking persons to RSVP to Bill Martin at 937-725-6585 or email [email protected] . They want to be sure there is enough food for a great continental breakfast. You can also contact Tom Dreyer at Cape May at 937-382-2995, ext. 173.

Once you come, we will notify you of the next meeting including the guest speaker and the subject to be discussed. You have the opportunity to ask specific questions.
