Board of Realtors holds annual banquet

The Clinton County Board of Realtors held their annual holiday luncheon and awards program on Dec. 10 at the General Denver. Realtors, affiliate members and guests enjoyed social time, lunch and an awards presentation. Entertainment for the party was provided by Kevin Berry, Becca Muchmore and Steven Haines. The party planning committee consisted of Brenda Barr, Melissa Reeder and Martha Saylor.

This year the Board of Realtors had particular reason to celebrate as they were recently approved by both the Ohio Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors to remain a local Board of Realtors. All local boards received notification earlier in the year that strict regulations and criteria were being put in place for local boards. Only those who met the criteria and had approved strategic and financial plans are now being recognized at the state and national levels as being local boards of realtors. Local boards not in compliance were asked to disband their local boards or merge with larger boards.

Members of the Clinton County Board of Realtors along with the Executive Committee worked diligently in order to meet all criteria and were therefore awarded the opportunity to remain a local board. Steve Riehle, acting President took time during the celebration to thank all executive board members, local members and affiliates for their time and support in working together to remain a local board.

During the celebration local realtors were also recognized for their sales achievements during the year. Awards were:
