Suicide prevention training May 1

WILMINGTON — In recognition of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, free suicide prevention training will be held in Wilmington at two separate events in the morning and evening of Wednesday, May 1.

The Health Education, Leadership, and Prevention (HELP) Coalition of Clinton County is offering the free Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) suicide prevention training. Both events will be in the Moyer Community Room on the first floor of Wilmington City Hall.

The times are 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, or 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The event is supported by Talbert House, Mental Health Recovery Services of Warren & Clinton Counties, the HELP Coalition of Clinton County, and Solutions.
