Alex Roosa of New Vienna was recently named one of Ohio Connections Academy’s (OCA) Star Students of the Month for May in recognition of his achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.

Alex, a first-grader at the statewide online public charter school, was nominated by his teacher Mrs. Baker because of his positive attitude and desire to actively participate in small and large group lessons.

Alex came to Ohio Connections Academy last year when he entered kindergarten.
