Community golfs for Project TRUST

0

The second annual Swinging for TRUST was a great success, raising $4,086.

Last year the event raised just over $3,600.

All funds will be used toward paying for the upcoming Project TRUST camps during the 2019-20 school year.

Raising funds for this outing has been quite simple — local business owners have been more than willing to support our cause. Many people in Clinton County have been impacted by Project TRUST in some way.

All of our local sponsors were excited about the opportunity to support Project TRUST as they have all had some personal experience with it. Some of our sponsors were counselors themselves when they were in high school. Others have children and/or grandchildren who have attended Project TRUST more recently.

This program is helping middle school students learn the importance of understanding, respect and teamwork. The support we’ve received for events like Swinging for TRUST show that this message is important to the people of our community. The ECPT team is very grateful for this support.

East Clinton Project TRUST would like to thank all of our amazing sponsors: Bond Insurance, Brown Funeral Home, Buffalo Wild Wings-Wilmington, EC Athletic Boosters, Engine House Pizza, Fiesta Veracruz, Freakin’ Penny Boutique (dinner sponsor), Garrett Vineyard Memorial, Great Oaks Career Campuses, Jen’s Deli, Kava Haus, Mediterranean Restaurant, New Vienna Church of Christ, Penny Moore CPA, Rome Jewelers (scorecard sponsors), Smith-Feike-Minton Inc., State Farm Insurance-Carrie Ziegler, Streber Mortgage, Taylor’s South Shore Marina, Town Drug of Sabina, and Walker Farms.

We would also like to extend a thank you to the following individuals for various donations and support: Laura and Troy Lynch, Laura and Carl Sizemore, Andrea and Bill Davis, Alicia and Thomas Sodini, John and Jill Sodini, Jim and Sheilah Boland, and PT counselors Aidan Henson and Carah Anteck.

We are very grateful for Mike Deters and Terri Streber and the support from the Snow Hill staff for Swinging for TRUST.

In addition, earlier in the school year EC Project TRUST received a $500 donation from Rod’s Project to help support the upcoming project TRUST camps. This is the second year that Rod’s Project has supported EC Project TRUST.
