SABINA — The opening of the Sabina Village Pool will be 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 8. This is a free community event with hot dogs and drinks.

A 50/50 drawing will also be held for all who would like to participate.

The Village has had two previous false openings due to lifeguard staffing, stated a Sabina official.

“We are pleased to announce that our staff is now complete with three concession personnel, seven lifeguards, one manager and one assistant manager,” said Nancy L. Cornell, Village of Sabina fiscal officer.

The hours of operation will be Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.; and Mondays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The daily admission cost this year is $5 per person. Family, double, single, and splash passes are also available.

The Village of Sabina offers pool parties at a rate of $200 for two hours.

“The Village would like to extend an apology to the residents for the delay on opening day. We look forward to seeing everyone for a relaxing and fun-filled evening,” stated a Village news release.
