Country Squares event set

Clinton County Country Squares is a modern western plus square and round dance club which meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 7-9:30 p.m. at Dove Church, 1499 Rombach Ave., Wilmington.

They welcome singles, couples and families, and ensure that everyone has a dance partner; casual attire is wonderful.

The club has a special event set for 7-9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at Dove Church — Clinton County Country Squares Luau Dance Special Caller Evening Featuring Pam Courts and Cuer Stuart Lewis

Locals earn CSCC honors

Nevarre M. Mulderink of Wilmington graduated from Columbus State Community College during spring semester commencement held May 10.

Cole Fraley of Sabina was named to the spring semester dean’s list with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Students achieve at SSU

Sierra Drake of Blanchester and Madison Baker of Clarksville were named to the spring semester president’s list at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio for attaining a grade point average of 4.0.

Named to the dean’s list for a grade point average of 3.5 or above were Peyton Jones of Blanchester and Adrianna Johnson of Wilmington.

Earns honor at ISU

Lorelei J. Bohlin of Wilmington was named to the spring 2019 dean’s list at Iowa State University with a grade point average of at least 3.5.
