As part of a major construction project, Phase 1 work is in full gear Thursday at the Laurel Oaks Career Campus in Wilmington. Phase 2 is anticipated to begin in November, said a spokesperson on site. The project will include new lab and classroom space and an expanded cafeteria, as well as a new addition to connect the two main existing buildings.
