• Public invited to fish fry (carry out or dine in) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Quinn Chapel AME Church basement, 50 N. Lincoln St. in Wilmington. Suggested donation $7. Meal includes fish, hush puppies, two sides and a dessert (plus an iced drink if dining in). Sides include greens, mac-and-cheese, baked beans, french fries, and cole slaw (extra sides $1 each). • Clinton County Farmers Market 8:30 a.m.-noon downtown Wilmington on Mulberry Street. “Back to School & Teachers Appreciation Day at the Market” Teachers will receive free $5 token with their school ID. Donations of school supplies will be accepted for all four county schools. For every two items donated, you receive one raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing for a Market Bag filled with over $100 in market products. • Audiobook Mondays at the Clinton-Massie Branch Library. From 2:30-5 p.m. the library will play a selected audiobook for kids.
