3D and drone at Farmers’ Market

Energize Clinton County will feature 3D printing giveaways for Pioneer Labs Day at the Clinton County Farmers’ Market this Saturday, July 11 from 8 a.m. to noon.

They’ll be demonstrating their 3D printer and drone and talking about their newest initiative, Pioneer Labs. Come out and learn about how Pioneer Labs hopes to inspire a new generation of makers, inventors and dreamers with the support of America’s Best Communities.

Partnering with Clinton County Job & Family Services, the market will begin to accept WIC (Women, Infants, Children) Farm Market coupons this summer. These coupons will help bring fresh produce to some of the youngest community members.

A $1,500 donation from the Clinton County Farm Bureau will greatly help in creating this new initiative. The market currently accepts EBT (food stamps) as well as debit and credit cards.

The mission of the Clinton County Farm Bureau is to forge a partnership between farmers and consumers by advocating for Ohio’s farm families on issues that help them in business and, in turn, provide non-farmers a wide variety of food choices. For more information on Farm Bureau, visit https://ofbf.org/counties/clinton/ or contact 937-382-4407.

The Clinton County Farmers’ Market is held rain or shine Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Mulberry Street between Main and Locust streets and Wednesdays 4-7 p.m. in the Mural Parking Lot at 81 W. Main St. behind the General Denver Hotel through October.
