The Kiwanis Club of Wilmington held the 35th Kiwanis Soccer Classic at Wilmington College Sept. 6-7. Participating were Adrian College (Michigan), Wabash College (Indiana), Grove City College (Pennsylvania) and Wilmington College. Shown are Kiwanis President-elect Kim Hiatt presenting the plaque for the winning team to Wilmington College men’s soccer coach Alex Van der Sluijs. Earlier in the summer the Kiwanis Club hosted the 11th Kiwanis Quaker Cup for 12 area high school soccer teams.
