The Blanchester FFA chapter held its first meeting on Sept. 4.

The chapter formed a T-shirt committee to form the 2019 t-shirt. We also come up with FFA night on the gridiron on Sept. 13, where will have a petting zoo, apple cider press, and tractors.

Thanks to all the members who volunteered to be on the committee and help.

The chapter, lastly, decided to go to National Convention in Indianapolis.

After the meeting, the members had a great cookout where there were burgers, hot dogs, cookies, chips and drinks. Kristen Whitaker, a fellow FFA members, said, “It was a great opportunity to bond with officers on a personal level and everybody in the chapter!”

The chapter also played fun games including flag football, volleyball and soccer.

We are very excited for the 2019 FFA year and hope everybody had a blast!
