Big Blanchester Fall Fest set

BLANCHESTER — A big Blanchester Fall Fest is set for 2 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Sept. 28 in downtown Blanchester in the park behind Peoples Bank — featuring more than 50 vendors and much more.

The festival is a group effort between the Blanchester Area Chamber of Commerce and Blanchester Parks & Recreation.

From 2-6 p.m. there will be free games for the kids, courtesy of Elevation Community Church, as well as DJ music. There will also be a free inflatable.

Also featured will be a farmers market, as well as food and craft vendors.

From 3-8 p.m. there will be a cruise-in; cars will be on display in the lot next to Ron’s Place and on Wall Street.

At 6 p.m. Rockwell Band will perform on stage, and at 9 p.m. Sam Burns and Orchard Circle take the stage.

Also going on during the Fall Fest will be a hunt for the Fall Fest Pumpkins.

Game cards can be picked up at downtown businesses; take your game card in to the businesses listed on the back of the card. Find the Fall Fest Pumpkin in their store, and get the clerk to sign your card.

Once you have acquired all of the signatures, take your game card to the Chamber of Commerce booth at the festival to be entered into a drawing for $100. the drawing will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the festival stage.
