CLARKSVILLE — High school senior Sarah Martin has been selected to represent Clinton-Massie as one of the Wilmington Noon Rotary Club’s January Students of the Month. Martin is known throughout the Clinton-Massie community for her strong character and leadership.

Martin has been a member of Clinton-Massie’s student council since her sophomore and currently serves as secretary on the council’s executive committee. Martin was a member of Massie’s basketball cheerleading squad both her freshman and sophomore years and has been a member of the football cheerleading squad all four years of high school. In her free time, Martin enjoys reading, cheerleading, and tumbling.

Looking to the future, Martin plans to attend Ohio University where she will begin her freshman year majoring in pre-media arts and studies and will then transition to games and animation to complete her degree program.

Martin will join other area Students of the Month at the Wilmington Noon Rotary club luncheon held at Damon’s Grill in Wilmington. Martin is the daughter of Kelli and Spencer Martin.
