WILMINGTON — A Clinton County grand jury has indicted a 60-year-old local man on two charges of trafficking in methamphetamine and one charge of possessing meth.

Marvin A. Napier Jr., 60, of the Blanchester area faces two felony charges of the second degree, and a felony count of the fourth degree.

In other grand jury news, a Sabina-area man was indicted with a third-degree felony charge of domestic violence.

Christopher Aaron Graham, 31, of Sabina, has two prior convictions for domestic violence from Middletown Municipal Court, one in 2009 and the second case in 2013.

Allegedly, Graham harmed a household member on Sept. 15, 2019. The alleged victim told a Clinton County deputy sheriff that Graham punched her repeatedly and shoved her into a tree, according to an affidavit by law enforcement.

The affidavit states numerous witnesses advised that Graham and the alleged victim were in a physical altercation.

The alleged victim had swelling and bruising on her right ear and several other bruises and scrapes, but declined medical treatment, the affidavit added.

Graham’s attorney, Clinton County Public Defender Rob Baker, has filed a motion with the court on Graham’s behalf for a competency evaluation and a not-guilty-by-reason-of-insanity evaluation. As of the time this article was written, there is no court ruling on the motion.

Joshua M. Rodriguez, 20, of Wilmington, has been indicted with two counts of robbery (an F2 and an F3).

The alleged incident reportedly occurred 12:54 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 on the 100 block of South South Street (U.S. Route 68) in Wilmington.

The alleged victim is reported to be a Clarksville-area man. There were no additional details in the police incident report that’s available in the press log.

The grand jury the same day also indicted the following people.

• David Matthew Valentine, 41, of Wilmington, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs.

• Pete W. Napier, 55, of the Blanchester area, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs.

• Staci L. Tucker, 40, of the Mount Orab area, was indicted with four counts of failing to appear in court as required.

• Kyle D. Huston, 27, of Wilmington, was indicted with one count of failing to appear in court as required.
