Court: Steep price for multiple speeding violations

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the defendant’s name, age, residence if listed, charge(s) disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which administers the law in criminal misdemeanor cases.

The following continues the list of those who pled guilty or were found guilty between Nov. 4 and Nov. 8, 2019:

• Samantha Strunk, 30, of Cincinnati, going 86 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $500, assessed $135 court costs. Court documents indicate this was the 6th offense in a 12-month period for Strunk. No driving privileges granted until all other suspensions are resolved and Strunk has proof of insurance.

• Aliah Ratcliff, 18, of Xenia, drug paraphernalia, fined $100, assessed $135 court costs. The contraband was ordered to be destroyed.

• Singleton Sweeney, 25, of Wilmington, drug possession, going 71 in a 55 mph speed zone, fined $80, assessed $270 court costs. The contraband was ordered destroyed. A drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed.

• David Garrigue, 55, of Port William, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $135 court costs. The offense was amended from an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge.

• Michael Roland of Wilmington, assault, fined $50, assessed $135 court costs.

• Vincent Means, 52, of Martinsville, fictitious registration, driving under suspension-financial, fined $300, assessed $270 court costs. A driving under suspension-failing to appear/pay fine was dismissed.

• Reginal Merriweather, 28, of Cincinnati, going 110 in a 70 mph speed zone, fiend $105, assessed $135 court cost. The case was waived by Merriweather.

• Chanuka Kaluva, 27, of Ashburn, going 95 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $135 court costs. The case was waived by Kaluva.

• Vincent Etagweyo, 37, of Cincinnati, going 98 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $135 court costs. The case was waived by Etagweyo.

• Amber Lenz, 20, of Georgetown, going 90 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by Lenz.

• Kayla McCrobie, 23, of Wilmington, drug possession, fined $100, assessed $135 court costs. The case was waived by McCrobie.

• Priyal Shah, 20, of Westerville, going 93 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $75, assessed $135 court costs. The case was waived by Shah.

• Devin Gallagher, 18, of Cincinnati, drug paraphernalia, fined $100, assessed $135 court costs. The case was waived by Gallagher.

• Travis Williams, 29, of Blanchester, drug possession, fined $100, assessed $135 court costs. The case was waived by Williams.
