WILMINGTON — Wilmington College’s Quaker Thunder Pep Band completed its fall sports season with the Fightin’ Quakers’ football victory over Capital — but the band’s ever-growing fan base will have a special opportunity to see and hear it in concert Sunday, Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. in Hermann Court.

The 40-member strong pep band will present “Sounds of the Season” featuring a combination of “greatest hits” from its athletic performances and “holiday favorites,” according to Stephen Wadsack, director of athletic bands.

He said they also hope to organize a sing-along for the finale. “!t will be a little more relaxed than your typical classical music concert, given the nature of what we do,” he added.

The pep band will make its winter sports season debut at the women’s basketball game with Earlham Dec. 2 and the men’s team’s match-up at Heidelberg Dec. 7.
