North American Sheep Lead winners

0

Alyssa Hutchinson and Jacob Lansing, Jefferson Jets 4H members, recently took first place in the Sheep Leading competition during the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Ky. The two competed in the Pairs Division with individuals across the U.S. Lead judging is based on presentation and appearance of wool garments as well as control of the sheep. Alyssa and Jacob’s outfits were well coordinated and made mostly of 100-percent wool. Alyssa’s grandmother, Vickie Wagner, made Alyssa’s dress and Jacob’s coordinating accessories. Both Alyssa and Jacob have showed sheep at the Clinton County Fair and the Ohio State Fair. This year they also won the Sheep Lead Pairs Division at both the Highland County Fair and the Ohio State Fair. Congratulations to Alyssa and Jacob.
