Chamber talks ambassadors at Rotary

WILMINGTON — Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dessie Rogers and Marketing and Communications Director Ruth Brindle spoke to the Wilmington Rotary Club which meets at noon on Mondays at Damon’s restaurant regarding the new Chamber Ambassador Club.

Rogers stated the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber Ambassador Club is an exclusive group of volunteer business professionals who will utilize their leadership and networking skills to serve as liaison between the chamber, its members, and the community.

Rogers also stated that working in collaboration with the chamber board and staff, Ambassador Club roles include attendance at chamber and member events, assistance with membership retention and recruitment, and advocacy for the chamber and its mission through a variety of opportunities and incentives.

Ambassadors will have the opportunity to develop new contacts on a professional level, building a successful network for themselves and their business.

Brindle said if you are interested in participating, visit www.wccchamber.com for an application. Applications are due by Friday, Dec. 13.
