The Ohio Festivals & Events Association recently recognized the 25th anniversary of Wilmington’s annual Banana Split Festival and honored the Wilmington Rotary Clubs on their “outstanding achievement” of 25 years of exemplary commitment to the community. The 2019 Banana Split Festival co-chairs were Susan Valentine-Scott and Marian Miller. This year, the Clinton County Convention & Visitors Bureau contributed $25,000 to the summertime festival.
