WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Farmers and Sportsman’s Association is hosting a free two-hour course for gun owners 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at the clubhouse at 301 Batson Road.
The course will address the legal aspects of gun ownership and use, including when deadly force is justified, where you are permitted to carry a firearm, and how to interact with police when carrying a firearm.
“I know that many of our citizens hold their concealed carry permits and I would encourage them to attend this training,” said Blanchester Police Chief Scott Reinbolt.
Those who wish to attend can reserve their seat at USLawShield.com/Events.
