Bailey presiding over Ohio association

COLUMBUS — Clinton County Clerk of Courts Cynthia “Cindy” Bailey was sworn in this month as President of the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association (OCCA).

The oath of office was administered at the state association’s winter conference held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Columbus.

Prior to becoming President of the OCCA, Bailey held the offices of 3rd, 2nd and 1st Vice President and was very active in the state association. The Ohio Clerk of Courts Association has the mission of helping all clerk of courts to provide the best possible service to the citizens in each county.

Clinton County Common Pleas Judge John W. “Tim” Rudduck administered the oath of office for the statewide position to Bailey.

Bailey was sworn in while surrounded by her husband Jim and family, Josh and Jessica Bailey, Katie Bailey, and grandsons, Oliver and Kellan.

Also attending the occasion were Clinton County Clerk of Courts staffers, retired Clinton County Common Pleas Judge William “Bill” B. McCracken, and retired Clinton County Clerk of Courts Joann Chamberlin and her husband Marvin Chamberlin.
