The first session of Clinton County ACT’s (Alliance for Compassion and Trust) three-part discussion series “Democracy on the Dock” will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, not Jan. 8 as inadvertently stated in a Thursday submitted article. The Jan. 11 discussion, titled “Civics 101, Democracy in Three Branches”, will focus on the legislative, executive, and judicial branches as set up in the first three articles of the U.S. Constitution. It’s open to the public, and is scheduled for 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. at the Wilmington Public Library.
