AM Rotary supports Habitat

WILMINGTON — During the January Habit for Humanity board meeting, Fadi Al-Ghawi a member of the Wilmington AM Rotary club and current board member of Habitat for Humanity, presented his colleagues with a $500 check from his Rotary club to support their mission of building homes for low- to moderate-income families within the county.

Both Rotary and Habitat missions are to serve and enhance the lives of others.

Habitat for Humanity completed its 40th home build this fall due to the effort and contributions of many volunteers, businesses and civic clubs. The gifts of others always build goodwill and make better friendship and it will strengthen lives and ensure security.

Clinton County has been fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers, supportive businesses and a giving community.
