WILMINGTON — Remember when life was simpler, the world was smaller and the cost of a new Chevy was about $2,000? A time when cool cars cruised the local teenage haunts and the radio was always rockin’ the latest tunes?

Phil Dirt & the Dozers are set for their annual concert — this is the 31st consecutive year they’re performed in Wilmington — at the Murphy Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 as they perform the intricate vocal harmonies of the Beach Boys, Four Seasons, the Eagles and many more to perfection.

The show is performed absolutely live with a sophisticated yet lighthearted approach that creates an atmosphere all age ranges will enjoy.

As ABC News Bureau Chief Charles Martin wrote about the group: “Your show may have been one of the finest performances I have ever seen and heard by a band in the 50-plus years I have been in the broadcasting and music business! Thoroughly entertaining! Musically perfect! Thank you for providing great entertainment for my family and myself.”

If you’re ready to experience the good old days of rock ‘n roll, lace up your saddle shoes, hang the fuzzy dice from the rear-view mirror, and buy a ticket today. Ticket prices range from $32-$45; call the box office at 937-382-3643 for more information or visit themurphytheatre.org.
