WILMINGTON — The first Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry of the season was underway Friday at the St. Columbkille Parish Center at 73 N. Mulberry St. in Wilmington including fish or shrimp dinners with plenty of desserts as well as raffles. All proceeds benefit St. Vincent dePaul and Sugartree Ministries. The fish fries continue every Friday through March 27.
Also, the weekly Lenten lunch continues 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays at Wilmington United Methodist Church’s fellowship hall downtown. Donation is $7. This week’s menu is chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll and butter, and brownies.
