Kiwanis supports 4-H

At the recent Kiwanis Division Council meeting at the Presidential Banquet Center in Kettering, the Clinton County 4-H program received a donation to help 4-Hers go to camp this summer.

Each year the elected Ohio Governor of Kiwanis selects a Family Project that will be the focus for the term of office. Because of Governor Levine’s positive experience with 4-H when her daughter was young, she decided to focus on youth receiving a “Campership” to assist with the cost of going to camp. On hand to receive the check was Debbie Pratt, Clinton County 4-H Committee President.

The Wilmington Kiwanis Club also supports 4-H as part of their focus on helping children. For more information about the local Kiwanis Club, contact Treasure Ron Johnson at 937-289-7226.
