WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) will host a National Weather Service Storm Spotter Training event at the Murphy Theatre on Tuesday, March 10 from 6 to 7:30 pm. The training is free and open to the public.

The training will be led by meteorologists from the NWS Forecast Office in Wilmington. It will provide specialized training to citizens, public safety officers, and emergency management personnel in how to spot, report, and prepare for tornadoes and other severe spring weather conditions in Clinton County.

The NWS depends in part on information from citizens trained to spot and report tornadoes and other severe weather events to help keep the community informed and safe with accurate reports of dangerous weather.

For more information, visit the Clinton Co. Emergency Management Agency Facebook page or contact EMA at 937- 382-667.
