CCSO: Items reported stolen from fire department

WILMINGTON — The following information comes from incident reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly found guilty in court.

The sheriff’s office recently processed these reports:

• At 7:29 a.m. on March 26, deputies responded to the fire department on Spring Hill Road in Clarksville on a theft report. According to the report, between March 20 and 25, a generator, a Hydro unit, Hydro Cut, and Hydro Ram were reported stolen. The report also lists a fence being damaged. No suspects were indicated and an investigation is pending.

• At 10:19 p.m. on March 22, a 60-year-old Adams Township female reported her 2017 white Nissan Versa from her State Route 730 residence was stolen. A 59-year-old male who has a similar address listed is indicated as a suspect.

• At 8 p.m. on March 23, deputies received a report of a 2015 Polaris RZR recreational vehicle being stolen from an East Main Street residence in Clarksville. The vehicle was later located, abandoned, on “the bridge” in Clarksville — South 1st Street. Deputies collected DNA swabs from the vehicle.

• At 5 a.m. on March 25, deputies received a report of an enclosed box trailer stolen from a North Main Street residence in Lynchburg. Later while on a routine patrol, deputies located the trailer on Webertown Road in Lynchburg.
