The Ohio Development Services Agency and Clinton County Community Action Program are working together to help keep Ohioans safe during this time of emergency.

Recently, Governor Mike DeWine declared a state of emergency regarding COVID-19, and the Ohio Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton issued orders to limit social interactions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Effective immediately, Clinton County residents who wish to complete their Percentage of Income Payment Plan Plus (PIPP), applying for Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Winter Crisis Program (WCP), or have limited income, can do so by calling Community Action 937-382-8365 for further instruction.

Ohioans can also visit www.energyhelp.ohio.gov to start their application and upload the required documents prior to calling the office. If you chose to do this, please make sure you let the Intake staff know when you call.

Ohio Department of Development has extended the Winter Crisis Program (WCP) until May 1 to align with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio’s extended Winter Reconnect Order (WRO) and the regular Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) extended until June 1.

For more information about the Winter Crisis Program, contact Community Action at 937-382-8365 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
