Large majority of Clinton County indictments in May are drug-related

WILMINGTON — Drug-related charges were prevalent among the indictments handed down by a Clinton County grand jury.

Below are the names, ages and residences of those indicted, plus the indictment charge or charges. All of the alleged criminal activity reportedly occurred in Clinton County.

Kelly Alvarez Jr., 25 of Celina, was indicted on a charge of trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound (F5). The activity allegedly occurred in October 2019 within Clinton County.

Rocky J. Masterson, 27 with an at-large address, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Kerry J. Anthony, 45 of Ridgeville, Indiana, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Andrew S. Hill, 37 of the Hillsboro area, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Michael L. Lambcke, 48 of Wilmington, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Dustin D. Kaufhold, 22 of Fayetteville, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Robert D. Wilder, 23 of the Blanchester area, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5), and illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse or prohibited items onto grounds of a detention facility or institution (F3).

Todd J. Smart, 53 of the Clarksville area, was indicted on two charges of aggravated possession of drugs (both F5s).

Brett A. Laymon, 42, formerly of Bowersville (in Greene County) and reportedly now of Wilmington, was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property (F4), and aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Shannon R. Ison, 45 of Riverside, was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property (F5).

Michael R. Hornschemeier, 35 of the Wilmington area, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Austin T. George, 21 of the New Vienna area, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Stephen L. Bowman, 50 of the Oregonia area, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5).

Vendela Shepherd, 25 of Wilmington, was indicted on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs (F5), and possession of cocaine (F5).

Robert W. Roth, 43 of the Xenia area, was indicted on a charge of failure to appear (F4).

Joseph E. Bryant, 32 of Wilmington, was indicted on two counts of failure to appear (both F4s).

Joshua D. Harris, 42 of Middletown, was indicted on two counts of failure to appear (both F4s).
