4-H On-Target with virtual meetings

The Clinton County On-Target 4-H Club met virtually by discipline with Archery meeting on Monday, June 1; Rifle meeting on Tuesday, June 2; Shotgun meeting on Wednesday, June 3; and Pistol meeting on Thursday, June 4.

Fawn Girard was at the Archery meeting and talked about her experiences shooting for the USA in France, Italy and Canada.

Member Minutes for Rifle were done by Hope Brelsford, who talked about how to know if ammunition is too old to use; and Khloe Beam had a practice video that she showed.

Member Minutes for Shotgun were done by Bella Earley, who talked about target practice at the club, and Isaak and Noah Adae who talked about shooting clay pigeons.

Member Minutes for Pistol were done by Mikala Hatfield who talked about her shooting history with On Target 4-H Club.

All the members did a wonderful job with their Member Minutes.

We talked about shirt orders due and raffle ticket turn in.

The Rifle discipline talked about single shot rifles and ammunition. We also talked about a Reuger 1022 synthetic stock magazine fed rifle. The Shotgun discipline talked about building up your muscle and feedback on summer shooting. The Pistol disciplines talked about shooting in the summer or fall.

We will hold our last virtual meetings on Monday, June 15 for Archery; Tuesday, June 23 for Rifle; Wednesday, July 1 for Shotgun and Thursday, June 25 for Pistol.
