Correction on date of first day for in-person voting

0

Tuesday, Oct. 6 is the first day for early-in-person voting at the Clinton County Board of Elections Office — not Oct. 5 as included in Thursday’s article about a Board of Elections meeting.

By way of additional information on key dates for citizens to keep in mind for the upcoming general election, please note the following:

• Sept. 18 — Military and overseas voters ballots start being sent out.

• Oct. 6 — Vote-by-mail ballots are sent out beginning this day.

• Nov. 2 — Last day to vote early in-person at the Board of Elections; and absentee vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked by Monday, Nov. 2 to be counted.

• Tuesday, Nov. 3 — Election Day in-person voting at your polling location from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
