ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — Two more members of a now-defunct fraternity at Ohio University have pleaded guilty to charges stemming from hazing that led to a student’s death two years ago.

Joshua Androsac, 20, of Lewis Center, pleaded guilty Wednesday to single counts of misdemeanor negligent homicide, misdemeanor hazing, felony permitting drug use, felony trafficking of cocaine and two counts of felony trafficking of harmful intoxicants. He was sentenced to 70 days in jail for his misdemeanor charges, but the sentencing on his felony charges will be held in abeyance pending completion of a diversion program.

Corbin Gustafson, 22, of Furlong, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty to permitting drug use. He was ordered to complete a diversion program.

Androsac and Gustafson were the last of seven members of the former Sigma Pi fraternity to plead guilty to charges that grew out of the 2018 incident involving Collin Wiant, an 18-year-old freshman who was found dead after ingesting nitrous oxide.

Gustafson initially was charged with reckless homicide, but prosecutors determined that count was not appropriate after investigators gathered more information in the case.
