Locals earn SSCC honors

Southern State Community College has released its President’s List and Dean’s List for academic excellence for summer semester. Students honored from Clinton County were:

President’s List (4.0): Blanchester: Madison Pembleton; Sabina: Mikel Reno; Wilmington: Samuel Ahrmann, Luke Dressler, Vicki Hutchens, Emily Mendell.

Dean’s List (3.5 & up): Wilmington: Clayton Sheeley.

Sharp earns master’s

Yvette Sharp of Wilmington received a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama during 2020 summer commencement.

Auditor’s office closed

Clinton County Auditor’s office will be closed 2-3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 so auditor’s staff can attend the celebration of life program for former Prosecuting Attorney Rick Moyer.
