Local Briefs: Full closure of SR 134 now set for early October

SR 134 to close Oct. 2

A railroad crossing repair project on SR 134 in the City of Wilmington has been rescheduled.

SR 134 was scheduled for closure at the crossing just of US 68 (South Street) during the week of Sept. 28; however, contractors for the railroad will now close SR 134 for four days beginning Friday, Oct. 2.

SR 134 will be closed at its junction with US 68 from 8 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2 through 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6. While the route is closed, traffic will be detoured by way of US 68 and SR 350.

Special Olympics update

After working with Special Olympics Ohio and Wilmington College the 2021 basketball and cheerleading season has been cancelled.
