Public review of Clinton County Hazard Mitigation Plan underway

A 30-day public comment period began Monday, Oct. 26 for an update to the 2016 Clinton County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Any member of the public can participate.

This effort is part of a five-year requirement for local jurisdictions to remain eligible for pre-disaster and post-disaster mitigation grant programs.

Members of the public will need to access the draft plan located on the project website www.burtonplanning.com/clinton-hmp .

The draft plan is located on the Plan Review tab.

Public comments can be submitted by use of the Comment Response Matrix.

Comments can be emailed to [email protected] no later than noon on Friday, Nov. 27, the day after Thanksgiving.
