CC Health District: COVID-19 case at Board of Elections; person isolated; BOE continues precautions and open for early in-person voting

WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Health District has confirmed a positive COVID-19 individual as part of the Clinton County Board of Elections team. The positive individual has been isolated per CDC guidelines.

The Board of Elections is working closely with the Health District and will remain open to ensure continuity of operations and to provide the essential functions to the voters of Clinton County, according to a news release from the CCHD.

During the early voting process the Clinton Board of Elections has been proactive in providing a safe environment for all staff/volunteers and to the public.

CCHD strongly urges everyone to wear facial coverings, physical distance, regularly sanitize and avoid mass gatherings as COVID-19 continues to spread through the region.
