WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Health District advises local residents ages 70 and older to NOT call them at this time to schedule COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

“We cannot schedule anyone until we know how much vaccine we will receive next week and have been able to plan for each POD (Point of Dispensing) accordingly,” said Health Director Pamela Walker-Bauer. She will advise the public as soon as more information is known and scheduling can resume.

It was originally announced that locals could call this week to schedule.

“I suspect the other vaccine providers are experiencing the same challenges,” she said.
