A Feb. 5 article headlined “County starts nest egg for a tunnel fix” mistakenly included two background paragraphs about a pre-centennial courthouse discussion a couple years ago on whether to hold public tours of a tunnel that runs from the courthouse basement to the old jail. That tunnel however is separate from the tunnel or culvert (also under Courthouse Square) that will be both rehabbed and replaced, and for which funds will be set aside.
