Clinton County Municipal Court metes out sentences

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following were found guilty or pled guilty to crimes during the week of March 28 through April 1:

• Lauren Ford, 28, of Wilmington, domestic violence and assault, sentenced 360 days jail, fined $500, assessed $230 court costs, supervised probation, no contact with victims for three years.

• Kristina Taylor, 29, of Clarksville, complicity, receiving stolen property, theft and possession of a drug abuse instrument, sentenced 630 days jail (suspended), fined $800, assessed $500 court costs, supervised probation, no contact with victim, pay $4.88 restitution to victim business. Separate charges of complicity and theft and a charge of possession of criminal tools against Taylor were dismissed.

• Timothy Taylor Jr., 32, of Clarksville, theft and possession of drug abuse instrument, sentenced 270 days jail (suspended), fined $1,500, assessed $230 court costs, supervised probation, no similar offense for two years, no contact with victim business.

• Kendra McKinney, 27, of Sabina, assault, sentenced 180 days jail (90 days suspended), fined $250, assessed $115 court costs.

• Jamie Clark, 30, of Vine Grove, possession of marijuana, fined $85, assessed $115 court costs.

• Jordan Jones, 19, of Dayton, possession of marijuana, fined $105, assessed $115 court costs.

• Thomas Davidson, 30, of Clarksville, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $115 court costs.

• Dillon Hedge, 20, of Blanchester, possession of marijuana, fined $85, assessed $115 court costs.

• Gregory Smith, 30, of Wilmington, obstruction of official business, sentenced 90 days jail, assessed $115 court costs.

• Michael Reeder, 34, of Sabina, disorderly conduct, fined $55, assessed $115 court costs.

• James Morgan, 39, of Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $50, assessed $115 court costs.

• Alexandria Distel, 20, possession of drugs, sentenced 90 days jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $115 court costs, jail suspended on condition Distel has no drug-related offenses for two years; completes a drug-alcohol assessment and follows the recommendations as to treatment, counseling or intervention; supervised probation.

• Zachary Trimble, 27, disorderly conduct, sentenced five days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $115 court costs, unsupervised probation.

The following had charges against them dismissed:

• Richard Phillips, 25, of Wilmington, trespassing; charge dismissed without prejudice.

Also in Clinton County Municipal Court:

• Jason Evick, 41, of Bethel, charged with alleged felonious assault, was transferred to Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.
